Cost & Management Accounting (CMA India)
Complete CMA coaching at Vyasa Institute covering all three stages — Foundation, Intermediate & Final. Expert faculty, proven results, comprehensive study material.
Course Overview
In order to promote, oversee, and advance the cost accounting profession, the then-British Government of India established the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (also known as the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India) in 1944. The institute is a controlled organisation governed by the Companies Act. Only one established professional organisation and licencing authority in India, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, is completely focused on cost and management accounting. A special statute passed by our parliament in 1959 by the Government of India gave the autonomous statutory authority.
The CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) course at Vyasa Institute consists of three stages — Foundation, Intermediate, and Final — each designed to progressively build your expertise in cost and management accounting. Our comprehensive coaching covers all three levels with a structured, result-oriented approach that has consistently produced excellent results.
Cost and Management Accounting is a vital professional qualification that opens doors to careers in cost management, financial planning, strategic decision-making, and management consulting. At Vyasa Institute, we prepare students not just for the CMA exams but for successful careers in this dynamic field. CMAs are in high demand across manufacturing, FMCG, consulting, government organizations, and corporate finance.
Our CMA Foundation program covers all four papers with objective-type examinations held in June and December. The Foundation level builds a strong base in business laws, financial accounting, cost accounting, mathematics, statistics, economics, and management fundamentals. Each subject is taught with a focus on conceptual clarity that serves students well as they progress to higher levels.
The CMA Intermediate program covers two groups (Group I and Group II) with a total of eight papers in subjective format. Our group-wise coaching allows students to manage their preparation effectively. Group I covers Business Laws & Ethics, Financial Accounting, Direct & Indirect Taxation, and Cost Accounting. Group II covers Operational Management & Strategic Management, Corporate Accounting & Auditing, Financial Management & Business Data Analytics, and Management Accounting.
The CMA Final program is the culmination of the CMA journey, also consisting of two groups (Group III and Group IV) plus an elective paper — eight papers in total. Group III covers Corporate & Economic Laws, Strategic Financial Management, Direct Taxation & International Taxation, and Strategic Cost Management. Group IV covers Cost & Management Audit, Corporate Financial Reporting, Indirect Tax Laws & Practice, and an Elective paper with options including Strategic Performance Management & Business Valuation, Risk Management in Banking & Insurance, and Entrepreneurship & Start-up.
Our faculty for the CMA program includes qualified CMAs with extensive industry experience. They bring practical insights from their professional careers into the classroom, making the learning experience rich and relevant. The test series mirrors the actual ICMAI exam pattern, and our study material is comprehensive, concise, and regularly updated.
Our CMA students have an impressive track record of success, with high pass rates and several students achieving top rank in national examinations. The combination of expert teaching, comprehensive material, and rigorous practice creates an environment where excellence becomes the norm.
